Well, we finally found a new home for our beloved pooch. We decided back in August that it was time to get rid of the dog. It was a hard decision to come to since Bailey was our first “kid”, but with 2 “real” kids now, Kevin going to school and no time to care for the high-energy, high-maintenance dog that she is, we decided to put the plea out for a new owner. We had lots of interest but no takers for many months…. until a few days ago. Someone saw a flyer posted in a dental office in Canton, OH (2 1/2 hours away), called and decided they wanted her. Today we met them half way to make the delivery. I was a bit nervous at first, not knowing what kind of home she would go to. All we wanted was a good home for her, someone who had time to care for her and give her the attention she needed. When we met the couple, I was completely at ease. They were so nice and she minded them right away. They live out in the country with 5 acres of land… plenty of room for her to run! I knew it was the right home when she jumped right in their car and didn’t even look back.
I saw them drive down the street with her head hanging out the window ready for a new adventure in her life.
Here are some fun memories of life with Bailey.

We’re so glad she has a good new home.

We loved you Bailey!! Glad you are in a good home!
I’m sure even though Bailey was going to a good home it must have been a very hard decision to make. Then to follow thru with it, must have been even harder. :O( Bittersweet must have been your feelings when you waved good bye. I bet Ethan misses her though, but when brother Lucas gets bigger, Ethan will someone to play with! :O)
So glad that Bailey will get the attention that she needs and deserves.
Love you all.
