Play date with Kyle!

April 5, 2007 (3:05 pm) by ErinHappy Anniversary to us! :) We decided to celebrate by going to see the Lion King in Cincinnati. We tried to go on our honeymoon, but it didn’t quite work out. I say “try” b/c we had tickets and even made it to the theatre but Kevin was SOOOOO… sick we had to leave right before it started. We were so bummed. Kevin surprised me with tickets this year and said… “let’s try it again!” We made it this time and had a great, much needed, time away just the two of us.

The BIG 3-0
(3:04 pm) by ErinThis is the year that I say good-bye to the twenties. But that’s ok, I don’t feel any older… just wiser. :) I had a very fun birthday. Kevin decorated the kitchen with balloons for me so I would wake up to some birthday fun and we celebrated with my mom and dad by going to the Real Seafood Co. in Toledo for a free meal. Then headed back to my parents for ice cream cake. Just being with family is nice and I had a very memorable, fun day.
Ethan loves everyone’s birthday cuz it means CAKE for him… even at 9:30 at night!

Trip to Target
April 3, 2007 (2:09 pm) by ErinMy friend, Jenny, and her daughter, Mackayla, and Ethan and I took a trip to Target the other day. What a fun adventure for little ones. Well, this trip turned out to be an adventure for me too! Ethan ended up throwing up all over himself in the car on the way! Yuck! We stopped at a gas station to get cleaned up but it was all over his pants and down his shirt. Nice excuse to get new clothes I guess. Once we got to target we found some clean, dry clothes for Ethan and all was well with the world. The rest of the trip went smoothly and we all enjoyed a day of shopping and eating at McDonald’s. I love how the simplest of trips to the store can be adventurous and so much fun with little ones. Thanks Jenny for a fun day.
The First Signs of SPRING!!!
(1:44 pm) by ErinOur Ohio weather has been teasing us for quite some time. We’ve had some beautiful days on and off. The first day it was 70 degrees out, Kevin surprised us and came home early from school! We took advantage of the weather by putting together Ethan’s wagon he got for Christmas and went on a walk. How fun! Can’t wait till we can do this every day!!!

We have officially entered the ranks of parenthood! (As if giving birth to 2 boys wasn’t qualifiying enough)… we now are the proud owners of a 2000 Olds Sillouette MINIVAN!!!! Whoo Hoo! And boy do I love it!!! I am not too proud to drive a minivan… I gave that up when we bought our ‘97 Buick LaSabre.
I love carting the two boys around town in our new ride. Ethan loves it too! Thanks to Gram and Gramp we were able to buy this great looking vehicle from them, as they were in the market for a new one. Thanks Gram and Gramp! We love it!
Ethan usually loves looking out the window… he can see a lot more now that he’s up higher, but this day he was EXHAUSTED!
