Books

I just ordered most of the books for my next semester at seminary. I’m taking another three classes this winter, Turning Points (a church history overview), Greek Exegesis, and Narrative Criticism. I thought i’d share some of the books I ordered here:

Turning Points: Decisive Moments in the History of Christianity
By: Mark A. Noll

Ancient-Future Faith: Rethinking Evangelicalism for a Postmodern World (Ancient-Future)
By: Robert E. Webber

Christian Literature: An Anthology [Illustrated]
By: Alister E. McGrath (Editor)

A Beginner’s Guide to New Testament Exegesis: Taking the Fear Out of Critical Method
By: Richard J. Erickson

Narrative Criticism
By: James Resseguie (the professor of my class)

I’m looking forward to getting into them. I plan on reading as much as I can this break to get ahead for next semester. With the baby coming soon, its going to be a packed semester and I want to get a head start! I might be posting some of the reflection notes from these books here.
