Seminary Papers
For those of you interested, I’ve just created a new section on my website here. It’s called ‘Papers’ and it contains a collection of my writings while in Seminary (most of them). While they are probably not terribly interesting to read, I thought I’d put them up here and see if anyone has any thoughts on them. It is organized by semester, but since I’ve only finished one semester of seminary, there aren’t many papers up there. But if you are interested, here are the fall 2006 papers I’ve written:
In my Heremeneutics class we read three books and i have reading reflections on those books. The reflections aren’t “refined,” so as you read, be aware I didn’t go through and edit these at all. They were mainly for my own edification while reading, so that I soaked in the ideas presented. I have also posted my final paper for the class, which is a brief look at a passage in Romans.
Reflections On Biblical Interpretation by Gerald Bray
Reflections On First Theology by Kevin Vanhoozer
Reflections On Grasping God’s Word by J. Scott Duvall and J. Daniel Hays
Final Paper: A Brief Hermeneutical look at Romans 14:13-17.
At Winebrenner, each semester, there is a one day, all day, Theological Summit. Each year the summit has a new theme. The theme of this school year is the kingdom of God. Concerning that Summit, we were each asked to write a reflection on the day’s discussions. I have posted my reflection paper.

Well, that’s it for now. More to come as they are written during my time at Seminary.
